Who We Are
The Palm Beach County Partnership for Aging is a not-for-profit
local organization which focuses its energies on enhancing the
life of older persons, their families and their communities
through advocacy,
information sharing and education.
Members include professionals in the aging network from
both the private and public sector, individuals interested
in aging issues, geriatric care managers, elder law
attorneys, acute and long term health care professionals,
university personnel and many others.
What unites the varied membership is a common mission,
vision and purpose regarding older persons in Palm Beach
County.
Mission Statement
To be the proactive voice of consensus to mobilize local
leadership and community resources to ensure the optimum
quality of life for our aging population.
Vision
All Stakeholders in aging issues will work together to
assure that all older persons in Palm Beach County have
the resources to guarantee their optimum quality of
life.
Purpose
To function as a common meeting ground for community
members, professionals and others interested in the
field of aging in order to:

Provide a forum to promote networking

Foster
the development of new and creative ideas which will
enhance the delivery and coordination of services to the
elderly
- Advocate
on issues affecting older persons
- Provide
information and education on issues concerning older
adults
- Promote the independence, dignity, health and well being of
older persons
